Earlier today, family, friends and coworkers of Sgt(ret) Adam Davies gathered at Trooper 2 to celebrate the issuance of his retirement badge after over 25 years in MSP. Adam joined as a cadet and then spent a large portion of his career in K9 out of the North East barrack before coming to the Aviation Command in 2013. For many years, he also acted as a Tactical Medic in the Tactical Medical Unit. Adam volunteered as a firefighter and paramedic in both Baltimore and Calvert counties and is well known throughout the region. Please join us in congratulating Sgt. Davies on his well-deserved retirement and wish him well in his future endeavors.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped with the “Be Ready Maryland” event at our Martin State HQ on Sunday! There were over 400 participants, 225 bike helmets fitted and distributed to kids, 200 participants attended classes for Stop the Bleed, Teen Injury Prevention and Fall Prevention and 70 staff volunteers from MSP, MDCOT, MIEMSS, and all the state trauma centers.
