Tonight, Middleborough High School celebrated the incredible achievements, hard work, and bright futures of the Middleborough High School Class of 2026 during Scholarship Night.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, local organizations, businesses, memorial funds, and individual donors, more than $350,000 in scholarship funds were awarded to members of the Class of 2026 and Middleborough alumni. This remarkable investment in our students will help open doors and create opportunities for years to come.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every scholarship sponsor whose continued support makes these awards possible. Your commitment to education and our students' success has a lasting impact on the lives of so many young people.

We also want to recognize and thank our senior families for their unwavering support, encouragement, and partnership throughout their students' educational journey. Tonight's accomplishments are a reflection of years of dedication from students, families, educators, and our entire community.

Congratulations to all of our scholarship recipients and to the entire Class of 2026. We are proud of all you have accomplished and can't wait to see what comes next!

Middleborough High School Senior Lily Price Earns METG Award Nomination

Middleborough Public Schools is proud to announce that Middleborough High School senior Lily Price has been nominated by Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild in the category of Best Performance in a Female Supporting Role for her portrayal of Persephone in Hadestown: Teen Edition.

This recognition is an outstanding achievement and further highlights the strength of the Middleborough High School theatre program. In addition to this nomination, Lily was also selected — alongside two other students — to audition for the prestigious National Jimmy Awards, a nationally recognized program celebrating excellence in high school musical theatre.

The winners will be announced next week during an awards ceremony hosted by the Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild. Additional details regarding the ceremony will be shared as they become available.

“We are incredibly proud of Lily and thankful for the dedication shown by our students, staff, families, and supporters.” said Sam Mosher MHS Theatre Arts Director.

What a great first day of celebrating the Class of 2026 at our Senior BBQ and Senior Memory Night! 🎓

Students spent today enjoying time together, sharing memories, laughing with friends, and reflecting on the moments that made their years in Middleborough so special. These traditions are always a highlight are just the beginning of senior week, and today was no exception.

We are so proud of our seniors and look forward to continuing the celebrations throughout the week ahead!🎓

From mental health goodie bags to fun lawn games and activities, the month was filled with opportunities to check in, take a break, and support one another.
