During National Police Week, the Tyler County Sheriff’s Office would like to take a moment to recognize and thank the dedicated men and women who serve our community every day.

To our deputies, thank you for your professionalism, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to protecting the citizens of Tyler County. Your hard work often goes unseen, but it never goes unappreciated.

Great exercise as we continue on a unified front to make the schools in Tyler County safer. The amount of time, training and planning that has went into these drills over the past 2 1/2 years is a testament to the priority the school Administration, Tyler County Sheriff’s Office and county first responders have placed on school safety and the level of preparedness for a real life emergency.
