Last evening the PCFD and Beaver Springs Fire Company did a mutual aid training. Crews from both departments did multiple scenarios. We practiced handline advancement, ventilation with a handline, and rescue scenarios of a downed firefighter. We are thankful for the community member who allowed us to train using an old trailer house that will be torn down.

Today at 05:37 The PCFD and mutual aid departments were dispatched to 10200 Block of Route 304 for a shed fire. Chief 402 arrived on scene and confirmed a working fire and held the box to Co 4 & 3 and Tanker 110. Engine 110 was placed in service prior to arrival.
Co 110 Volunteers: 14

Today at 10:03 The PCFD was dispatched to 100 Block of Sawmill Road for a house fire. Engine 110 arrived on scene and put one handline in service to assist Co 10 with fire suppression. Tanker 110 arrived on scene and supplied Engine 110 with water. Units operated on scene for approximately 1.5 hours before returning.

At 23:15 The first alarm assignment was dispatched to the 1400 Block of Zion Road for a barn fire. Chief 111 arrived on scene and confirmed a working chicken barn fire. Engine 50&110 arrived on scene along with Tankers 110&50 and set up dump tanks and pulled multiple lines for fire suppression. Chief 111 requested 2nd alarm tankers. Units operated on scene for approximately 3.5 hrs before returning.

Units: Chiefs 111,112,113. Engines 110,50,3, , Rescue 50, Tankers 110, 50, 10,20,30,40,80, 120, and JC9-1.
Engines 100, and 4-2 handled the fill sight
