🇺🇸 A one-of-a-kind experience is coming to Clay County!

As America approaches its 250th anniversary, the Freedom 250 Mobile Museum Nationwide Tour is making a stop at the Clay County Administration Building in Green Cove Springs (477 Houston St.) from June 15–17.

Step inside this free, custom-built mobile museum and explore immersive exhibits that bring our nation’s founding and history to life. The truck will be open daily, and the public is invited to a ceremony on June 16 at 10:00 AM. Questions? Please email [email protected].

he St. Johns River Water Management District has updated the regional drought declaration to a Phase III Extreme Water Shortage, which includes Clay County.

What does this mean for residents?
Landscape irrigation remains limited to one day per week, and additional restrictions are now in place to help protect regional water supplies during ongoing dry conditions.

A few important reminders:
• Irrigation is only allowed on your assigned day
• Watering is prohibited between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
• Avoid unnecessary water use whenever possible
• Check irrigation systems for leaks or overspray

Small conservation efforts across our community can make a big difference as drought conditions continue.
