To start the new scouting year off right, Pack 653 held a Scavenger Hunt Bingo! Not only did the participants go home with goodies like coloring books, crayons, snacks, and toy dinosaurs, they also had to “hunt” for their knowledge of the scout sign and motto. Such a fun time!

Pack 653 never hesitates showing our appreciation for our local first responders!
Thanks to the generous donations during camp card sales, we were able to donate over 200 camp cards to the Clay County Sheriffs Office and the front line workers at St. Vincent’s.
Thank you for all you do in taking care of the people of Clay County!!

Congratulations to all the scouts that earned their rank badges and are advancing to their new rank this upcoming scout year! Each scout has worked hard, as well as our leaders!
We had a short rain delay during the ceremony, but it wasn’t enough to stop the celebration.
Thank you to all family and friends that joined us as our scouts crossed the bridge to their next adventure in scouting!

Our Easter egg hunt was a blast! In conjunction with Good Samaritan Church, we had over 700 🤯 eggs for the kids to find, in addition to the couple ‘prize’ eggs. The parents (and kids) were also treated to some delicious coffee and donuts, courtesy of the Pack.

We’ve been a little MIA from here, but that doesn’t mean Pack 653 hasn’t been busy! We recently ran a food drive for our church food pantry, and boy (scout) was it a success!!! Thank you to all family members that helped, and neighbors that donated!

Come to Pack 653 Sign-Up Night and learn about scouting, because it’s so much more than camping and popcorn!

Tomorrow evening, September 29th, from 5-7 at Good Samaritan Church, the scouts of Pack 653, as well as some scouts from Troop 653, will be happy to show you exactly what you can gain from joining our pack. If you are interested, we will be registering new scouts on site.

Thank you to all who joined the cookout!
It felt like one of the hottest days of the summer, but nothing beats spending time with the pack!

Our pack’s wonderful volunteers and leaders made some great burgers and hotdogs, the classic swamp juice, snacks, and the scouts had some fun outdoor games to play ☀️🍔🌭

This was our last summertime activity, on to the start of the new scouting year!

Fundraising for the pack isn't just popcorn and camp cards!
Pack 653 is lucky enough to have a great community that is willing to help us raise funds that are instrumental in holding all of our events throughout the year.
Our final summer fundraiser is through Escape Me right here in Orange Park. Gather friends and family for a challenging and fun group activity, all while supporting our scouts!
