Attention dog owners: Pa Dog Wardens will soon begin canvassing in Snyder County
An annual license is $10.80, and a lifetime license is $52.80. Discounts are available to older adults and people with disabilities.

Licenses are available to purchase in person at the following locations:
Snyder County Treasurer’s Office - Courthouse – Middleburg
Hilsher's General Store in Port Trevorton - agent for Treasurer
Martin's Family Hardware in Mt. Pleasant Mills - agent for Treasurer
Agents for the Treasurer charge an additional $.50 for each license

Second round for PA antlerless deer license starts on Monday July 28, 2025.

Snyder County Treasurer's Office will be opening at 8 am on Monday July 28, 2025 and then back to our normal business hours the rest of the week. Cash or Check only.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Hunters will need their state identification (driver’s license) OR CID to purchase licenses. To safeguard your personal information, Social Security numbers can no longer be used to look up accounts. Your CID can be found on your hunting or fishing licenses. Social Security numbers will still be needed if this is your first time purchasing a hunting license.

The first day to purchase your 2025-26 hunting and trapping licenses is Monday, June 23, 2025! This also marks the first day you can purchase RESIDENT antlerless licenses for ALL WMUs in Pennsylvania.
ALL resident hunters are GUARANTEED an antlerless license in any WMU in the first round, IF purchased prior to July 14.

Pennsylvania deer hunters, this is it! Your fourth and final round of antlerless deer licenses will be available for purchase, tomorrow, Monday, Aug. 26, beginning at 8 a.m.

Both residents AND nonresidents are now eligible to purchase UP TO their allotted six antlerless licenses, if available. If you purchased antlerless licenses during the first three rounds of sales, you will only be permitted to purchase three additional at this time.

The Snyder County Treasurer's Office will be opening at 8:00 am on Monday June 24, 2024 and Thursday June 27, 2024.
All other days will be open normal hours 8:30am to 4:00pm.
