The M.R.A. will be open TODAY, Friday, June 5th, 3:00-8:00 p.m. for swimming, boating, etc.

PLEASE NOTE:
The previously published season schedule is still in effect. The regular M.R.A. season will still open on Monday, June 15th.

Pre-Season: Open weekends beginning Saturday, May 27th
Season: Open Daily Monday, June 12 through Labor Day
Hours: 10:00 a.m. to sunset, weather permitting
Rain Policy: Area closed if raining at 12:00 p.m.

Flag Day Celebration
Sunday, June 14th

Join us on Sunday, June 14, to celebrate Flag Day with a parade and Ice Cream Social!

1pm: MPD, MVFD, and DPW Vehicle Parade starts from the MVFD parking lot and ends at Shepardson Community Center.

2-4pm: Middlebury CT Parks & Recreation is hosting an Ice Cream Social with touch-a-truck opportunities, bounce houses, and ice cream sundaes. All ages are welcome!

If you have a unique vehicle (or a particularly patrioticaly decorated one) and would like to join the parade, please contact the First Selectwoman's office at 203-758-2439 to discuss participation.

Our annual Memorial Day Parade has been cancelled due to the weather forecast.
Our Memorial Day Celebration has been moved to:
Shepardson Community Center
1172 Whittemore Rd.

Veterans’ Reception ~ 4:00 p.m.
Room 5 - Lower level
All Veterans are encouraged to attend
Light refreshments will be offered

Memorial Day Ceremony ~ 5:00 p.m.
Auditorium - Upper Level

Memorial Day Parade Update:
Parks & Rec is watching the weather forecast for Sunday’s 5pm Memorial Day Parade very closely. We will provide a status update at 3pm on Saturday, with the final decision to hold or cancel the parade being made at 6pm on Saturday night. Every effort will be made to hold the 4pm Veteran's Reception and the 5pm Parade if possible.
Should the parade be cancelled, that notice will be posted on the town website and social media as well as a Code Red notification.
