Gate #1, which is the 1st yellow gate at the very top of the park entrance has been closed due to flooding. The park will be closed until further notice until flood waters have receeded and the recreation area has been cleaned.
We do not encourage walkers in the park while it is closed due to water conditions, debris deposits and silt, which is very slippery (even when dry).

Due to the recent rain storms, the park is currently flooded. As long as the water stays lower than a certain level, the park will be open for walkers. We would like to advise that if you are walking please use caution as flood waters are still rising. Most of our trails are under water and you will only be able to walk portions of the main road.
