ACORN has been generously granted a St. Stephen's Peasant Market Grant to fund Winter Farmacy shares for 2026-27! 🌸

Our amazing board member, Susan, joined other recipients of this grant to accept the gift last week.

Thank you so much for your continued support, and we look forward to feeding families with local food through the winter months! ❄ .stephensmiddleburyvt

ACORN’s team is growing! We’ve welcomed a few new faces to the team over the past few months, and we’re so excited to have them growing this work with us. 🍓

Lisa is our new Development Manager! She is working with the team to promote ACORN’s mission and connect to community, focusing on building ACORN’s capacity to support our producers and strengthen the local food system. She also works part-time at an organic vegetable farm ( ♥️) and is highly invested in bolstering access to local food. Lisa lives in Orwell, where she and her partner raised their family. 🌼

Lindsey picked up her Guide today, wearing a shirt for the third year in a row! (interesting coincidence or is our ED just an extremely engaged member of the community?! ♥️)

Get your Guide today, and check out the 250+ local producers and farmers that feed us!

On Monday, community members, buyers, farmers, and lovers of ACORN gathered to see the Food Hub! 🐿️

The weather was gorgeous, the smoothies were refreshing, and the crowd was engaged! We had loved meeting new faces and reconnecting with long-time friends. We even planted fruit trees, tasted chocolate milk, and made art! We are increasingly grateful for this community and hope for you all to stay in touch ♥️

Our Food Hub’s Annual Chocolate Milk Tasting took place yesterday 🥛

In the abundance that is Vermont’s small dairy culture, there’s a chocolate milk for everyone. Each dairy was a different staff member’s favorite. 🍫

We are celebrating International Women’s Day with a special emphasis this year! 2026 is International Year of the Woman Farmer 👩‍🌾

We thank all the women in agrifood systems! You are essential across food security, nutrition, economic resilience, and more. It’s important to recognize the caring contributions made by women, often overlooked by the system. We love all the women we work with!
