We have made significant progress both inside and out.

All the exterior insulation has been blown in.

The internal room wall framing is complete and most of the electrical boxes and wiring are in place.

Outside, more siding has been installed along with the shiplap ceiling over the back veranda.

We continued to work both inside and outside.

Inside we completed the installation of the ceiling SIGA fabric and strapping in preparation for the installation of the insulation which should occur next week.

Outside we began installing trim around the exterior of the windows in preparation for the siding.

Now that Silver Maple has completed the exterior walls and roof, we have started preparing both inside and outside.
Inside we have installed the fabric on the ceiling to contain the insulation and outside we have been installing the strapping which will hold the siding.
With such a strong start we should complete this house by this Fall.

After Silver Maple put up the frame. Mountain Builders owned by Rider McCrellish installed our roof trim. Friend roofing is coming in Tuesday to put the shingles on.

After a period to get by the remaining winter months, we are about to start working on our third Gorham Lane house.

This time, Silver Maple Construction which has helped us at intervals decided to fabricate panels for our exterior walls in their indoor facility. They then installed them.

This means our normal volunteer crews will begin working on the interior of the house giving us a huge headstart on this house.

This posting covers a span of activity and time.
We completed the final work on the house installing the kitchen cabinetry and appliances as well as the final painting.
After that, we had our traditional potluck lunch to celebrate a job well done.
Finally, in spite of bitterly cold weather, we had our open house to show off the finished house.
Our new owners will officially sign all necessary paperwork and move in in the very near future.
