This posting covers a span of activity and time.
We completed the final work on the house installing the kitchen cabinetry and appliances as well as the final painting.
After that, we had our traditional potluck lunch to celebrate a job well done.
Finally, in spite of bitterly cold weather, we had our open house to show off the finished house.
Our new owners will officially sign all necessary paperwork and move in in the very near future.

This past week outside we installed strapping in preparation of both soffits and the rest of the siding.

Inside we installed electric switch boxes and the final interior window trim.

Finally, our new prospective homeowners (Carl and Elaina) joined us to begin working their required "sweat equity".

We continue to work inside and out on Gorham 35.

While there is still siding to install, we have already begun painting some of the installed siding.

We also installed the decking floor leading to the front door, the storage shed door and beyond.

With virtually all the interior framing complete, work on the window trim is well underway.

Finally, we have a family selected for #35 who we will introduce shortly.

We continue to make great progress on 35 Gorham (our second house here).

Around half the siding is up and the interior framing is essentially done. We should be painting the siding soon and the wall and ceiling insulation is in place.

We also installed the framing for the exterior deck for the front door as well as the entrance to the storage shed.

We continue to button up the exterior of the house, taping all the windows and installing the doors.

With our first Gorham house virtually complete, this past week we turned all our attention to the second house.

In the end, we had installed all the interior frames of the exterior walls of the house giving us the one-foot space we use to insulate the exterior walls.
