🚨🚁 BIG NEWS FROM WEYBRIDGE FIRE DEPARTMENT 🚁🚨

After months of planning, budgeting, and “careful consideration”… we are proud to announce the newest addition to our fleet:

Weybridge Fire Department Air 1

That’s right — we’ve officially taken emergency response to the skies. This state-of-the-art air transport helicopter will allow us to:
🔥 Beat traffic on Route 23 (finally)
🚑 Reduce response times to almost zero
🌲 Land directly in your backyard (don’t worry, we’ll try to avoid the garden)
🚨 Provide rapid mutual aid… statewide (or at least until we need to refuel)

Outfitted in full Weybridge Fire red with gold trim, Air 1 is ready to respond to fires, medical calls, and the occasional maple creemee emergency.

We’d like to thank our partners, our community, and whoever approved this in the budget (we’re still double-checking that part).

In all seriousness — we’re always looking for ways to improve service and have a little fun along the way.

Happy April Fool’s Day from all of us at Weybridge Fire 😄

It is time to adjust our clocks and inspect our smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. For detectors powered by batteries, replacement is now due. Please verify that your detectors remain safe for operation. If a detector exceeds 10 years of age, or 7 years in the case of a carbon monoxide alarm, replacement is recommended.

Remember to stay hydrated and cool over the next couple of days!

Summer has arrived with some serious heat! Prepare to stay cool this next week and look out for signs of heat illnesses in yourself and neighbors when spending time outdoors. You could potentially avoid a heat emergency! Find more heat safety tips and a map of cooling sites at HealthVermont.gov/hot-weather.

It always saddens me when you see a fallen brother or sister. Prayers to his friends and family.
