Check out the big changes in the Middlefield area. What has been known for many years as the Middlefield Market is now known as The Heritage Marketplace. This huge complex is under new ownership. There are five partners sharing the proprietorship of this venture and they are working to create an updated center for commerce and events. The partners are Jerry Elliott who owns a local tax, accounting business and Elliott’s Country Delights; Jerry Miller who is semi-retired; Robert Miller of Miller Fireplaces and exCELL Energy; Nathan Stutzman, a partner in Stutzman Brothers Lumber and Paul Wengerd, owner of Pine Craft Storage Barns.
The group has big plans for the complex and they are pleased to announce current tenants Country Collections, Country Arts and Jewelry, JMJ Stoves, Rustic Rewind, Heritage Naturals, Geauga Amish Library, Heritage Trailers, Marketplace Mall, Mel’s Shoes “n” More Netta’s Jams and Valley View Books and Fabrics. Pine Craft Storage Barns built a new facility in the east parking lot, relocating the business from Route 528, and is in full production.
