Over the past several days, Middlefield Fire Company proudly participated multiple Memorial Day ceremonies and parades, honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

This weekend, members were also heavily involved in the Middlefield’s Old Homes Day and America 250 Celebration. Throughout the event, crews provided emergency coverage to ensure the safety of all attendees. Our members remained on standby during the festivities and continued coverage through the evening fireworks display.

Thank you to everyone who attended these community events, and thank you to our dedicated volunteers who gave their time to serve and protect our community throughout a very busy holiday and celebration season. We are proud to be part of such a great town!

Shout out to Jennifer Schulten for once again capturing some great shots of us!

This is only a drill and there is no cause for alarm. You may notice emergency vehicles and increased noise and activity in the area during the exercise. We appreciate your understanding!

Last night, our members took part in hands on training focused on vehicle fires.

Crews worked through fire attack techniques, scene safety, and proper apparatus positioning while reinforcing the importance of teamwork and communication on the fireground. Vehicle fires present unique challenges, from fuel hazards to modern vehicle components.

We’re committed to continuous training so we can provide the highest level of service to our community.
