Rumney students will be putting on a production of Dear Edwina Jr., a high-energy, lots-of-fun musical. The show tells the story of thirteen year old Edwina who dreams of becoming a world-famous advice columnist. She works with all the kids in her neighborhood to create a show each week where she answers other kids' questions and concerns.

There will be shows on Friday April 19 at 7 PM and Saturday April 20 at 2 PM and 7 PM. Shows are at Rumney School in Middlesex. Suggested donation is $5 for students and $10 for adults. Come join the fun!

If you have a student enrolled in Kindergarten at Rumney Memorial School for the upcoming 2023/24 school year, we welcome you to drop by our Kindergarten classroom next Friday to meet your teacher and see the classroom! This classroom visit will happen on Friday June 2nd at 9:30-10AM! We hope to see you there!

Green-up Day is Saturday, May 6th ! Help make Middlesex’s road free from litter and trash.
Select a road or area in town, grab your gloves and trash bags and get to work! Green Up Trash bags are available outside the Rumney School main entrance (just arrived!) and at the Town Clerk’s Office. We will also have trash bags available at the Town Garage, Shady Rill on May 6th, starting at 8 o’clock. Please drop off your trash bags at the collection site at the Town Garage on Shady Rill, in front
of the fire station. New this year, we will have a dumpster from Casella. As in the past, Bolduc's will provide a metal recycling container, so please bring any metal scraps you find.We do accept
tires. We do not accept non-metal recycling, toxic waste or electronics. Conservation Commission members will be available to assist at the drop off site on Saturday, May 6 from
8:00AM -3:00PM.
Please remember that Middlesex does not offer roadside pick-up of filled green bags - please bring the green bags to the Collection site. The Middlesex Girl Scout Troop will have a table with free baked goods and lemonade at the collection site. Thank you!

Every season, Girls on the Run creates a safe and FUN place for girls of all abilities to make new friends, establish healthy habits and challenge themselves with personal goals. Spaces are limited so register now for our spring season at www.gotrvt.org.
This program is for Rumney Memorial School and Doty Memorial School girls in grades 4, 5, 6. Our season begins the week of April 11th and is 8 weeks. Our team will meet at Rumney on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 5:15. Movement is woven into our games and activities to empower students to feel greater self-worth! As soon as the snow is melted we will be out running on the roads and building up our running endurance. The season culminates with our team crossing the finish line at GOTRVT’s 5K Celebration in Essex on Saturday, June 3rd.
GOTRVT provides financial assistance directly on the registration form for qualifying families. Please contact GOTRVT directly at 802-871-5664 regarding financial assistance options.
