The Middleton WI Police Department is a full-service police department commanded by Chief Troy Hellenbrand. The Field Services divsion is commanded by Captain Travis Kakuske and consists of 19 patrol officers and 7 patrol Sergeants, as well as the Investigative Services Bureau, consisting of one Sergeant, 4 Investigators, 2 School Resource Officers and 1 Community Awareness Officer. The Administra

tive Services division is commanded by Captain Jeremy Geiszler and consists of an Office Manager, 4 Records Clerks, a Court Officer, 1 Dispatch Center Supervisor, 5 full-time Dispatchers and 2 part-time dispatchers. School Resource Officer Jake Ungerer and Crossing Guard Rob Squires talked with WMTV 15 News about back-to-school safety this morning! They shared how MCPASD partners with law enforcement agencies, including the Middleton Police Department, to prioritize student safety.

They reminded everyone to slow down, stay alert, and look out for one another at crosswalks. They also encouraged families to practice walking the route with their students before the first day of school on Sept. 1.

๐—™๐—ข๐—จ๐—ก๐—— ๐——๐—ข๐—š: This little guy was found tonight near the Middleton Fire Station on University Avenue near Aurora Street. A microchip was detected, however we have been unable to locate registration information. If you recognize him, please call or text us at 608-824-7300. If he isn't claimed by his owner shortly, he will be turned over to the Dane County Humane Society & may be available for adoption there.
