A huge thank you to Skyline Services, Inc., for helping keep our clubhouse shining bright! ✨

Their team generously donated floor repair and polishing services for the Gilda’s Club Community Room and Art Room, giving these important spaces the care and refresh they needed for the thousands of visits that happen here each year.

We are also incredibly grateful to Skyline Cleaning Services, Reid Hemlock, and the entire team for donating a wonderful live auction package for this year’s Red Doors Golf Outing! The package includes a complimentary residential or business cleaning service, paired with a generous donation from Sanctuary Organization for a personalized, professional home-organizing service, creating an amazing experience for one lucky winner.

What makes their support even more meaningful is Skyline Cleaning’s commitment to giving back beyond Gilda’s Club. Through “Cleaning for a Reason,” they provide free home cleanings for cancer patients, helping ease the burden during some of life’s hardest moments.

Thank you, Skyline Cleaning and Sanctuary Organization, for showing what community in action truly looks like. ❤️

Earlier this month, we gathered among the blooms for "Everyday Adventures: Young Adult Olbrich Tour." It was a gorgeous day to explore all of the spring blossoms. We ended the morning with a delicious lunch at Ian's Pizza. A huge thank you to Olbrich Botanical Gardens for the guided tour and beautiful morning, and to Ian's Pizza Madison for the amazing pizza.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated to the Spring Match Challenge! Because of you (and our generous match donors), we met our matching gift goal!

The dollars raised could provide an entire year of support and care for 34 individuals touched by cancer!

Kristin, Gilda's Club member shares, “I know that every day there are other families experiencing the before and after of cancer, and I desperately want all of them to have the same kind of transformational experience, the sense of community, the sense of being seen and known that my family has gotten through Gilda’s Club.”

Thank you for providing community and that sense of being seen and known to anyone touched by cancer!

Some seasons remind us just how much community matters. 💛

When life feels uncertain or overwhelming, having a place to turn can make all the difference. That’s what Gilda's Club Wisconsin continues to provide every single day for individuals and families facing cancer across Wisconsin — free of charge.

“Gilda’s Club gave my family what we needed during some of our hardest moments. My son adored his time with Elizabeth each week. Joining the Qi Gong and guided meditation programs during chemo gave me something to look forward to on really hard days. I am incredibly grateful to have found Gilda’s Club when I did.”

— Mandy, Gilda’s Club Member

From the warm welcomes, to the bidder paddles raised in support, to the thoughtful centerpieces and the stories shared around every table, the Gilda’s Backyard BBQ is more than just a night out. It’s a night that helps keep moments like Mandy’s possible for families across Wisconsin.

We're still buzzing with excitement after the Community Art Show Opening Reception last week! It was so wonderful seeing so many of our artists, volunteers, Red Door Society members, members, and other community supporters coming together for the same purpose...celebrating the artistry of our members and volunteers and recognizing the healing power of creativity.

We have so many people to thank for making last week possible:

-The members and volunteers who contributed artwork (and of course a few staff members, too 🙂 ). We are blown away by your creativity and talent!
-Our incredible event sponsors: 6AM Marketing , T. Rowland Foundation, and Total Administrative Services Corporation (TASC) Cares
- Catering for providing the delicious hors d'oeuvres
- James Crockett for the beautiful music
-Momma Megs Ice Cream for the yummy sweet treats
- The Magician for the amazing magic
-Thank you to ALL the volunteers that made this evening possible with special thanks to Shelby and Jennifer for displaying all the art in the community room and library; and to Olivia for creating the beautiful plaques with the artist descriptions.
-Our Red Door Society members, whose loyal support means that no one has to face cancer alone.

It's not too late to see the artwork! It will remain on display in the clubhouse through June 15th. See www.gildasclubwi.org/artshow for more details.

For anyone walking through cancer or supporting someone who is, this is your reminder that progress doesn’t have to be fast or perfect. Some days are about tiny steps, and some days are simply about continuing to show up.

You are not behind. You are not alone. Just keep going, one step at a time.

What an incredible night at Smash Cancer 2026!

A huge thank you to Keith Voogd for once again organizing this fun and impactful event in support of Gilda’s Club Wisconsin. Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, Smash Cancer raised an amazing $2,294.87 to help ensure our cancer support programs remain completely free for children, adults, families, and friends impacted by cancer.

Thanks to I/O Arcade Bar for hosting again this year and to Third Coast Advisors for providing tasty pizza!

The evening featured fantastic silent auction items donated by so many generous community partners, including Summerfest, Hubbard Avenue Diner, Comedy on State, Best Western Premier Park Hotel, Texas Roadhouse, Schwoegler's Park Towne Lanes, Boulders Climbing Gym, Greater Heights Climbing Gym, Taylor B Massage, The Annex, and many more! Thank you to everyone who donated, attended, bid, played, and supported this event. Your support helps create a community where no one faces cancer alone.
