At one of our recent camps, fiddler Dave Rimelis from The Arts Institute of Middlesex County performed and gave our campers instruments to play alongside him. 🤩

The NJBCA is partnering with the organization and will be having different musicians from The Division of Visual & Performing Arts perform at Camp Happiness throughout the summer. Emmanuel Solano, the program’s coordinator, accompanied Rimelis to see the program’s success and how much it means to our members. 🎶

Carol Stillwell, the president and CEO of Stillwell-Hansen Inc. (one of our gold sponsors for our upcoming Art from the Heart exhibit), also stopped by to get a preview of some of the artwork and meet the amazing artists behind them! 🎨

We are so grateful for Lunch Break for donating delicious food and for photographer Tom Zapcic for coming by to take some incredible photos. 👏

Before April is over, we want to wish everyone a happy National Volunteer Month! Did you know that the NJBCA transitioned to an all-volunteer operational model this past September?

To celebrate our amazing volunteers, we had some cake at last week’s camp. Whether you physically volunteer at Camp Happiness or behind the scenes, we thank you for all your hard work! 👏❤️
