Middletown Volunteer Fire Company #7 Fire-Rescue-EMS The Middletown Volunteer Fire Company has been providing non-stop service to the Middletown community for 119 years.

We provide Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Medical Services with two BLS Ambulances, Brush Truck, Engine, Rescue Engine, and Tanker. We also house the counties Wildland Trailer.

NNO 2026 is in the books! 🎉

Thank you to Commissioner Chris Goodman for once again organizing Middletown’s National Night Out. It was a wonderful evening with the Sheriff’s Department, our fellow first responders, local community vendors, and so many members of the community we proudly serve.

We look forward to this event every year and the chance to connect, catch up with familiar faces, and meet some new ones along the way.

We truly have an incredible community, and we’re grateful to everyone who came out and shared the evening with us! 🚒🚓

At approximately 15:05, units from Middletown and surrounding companies were alerted for a report of a barn fire. Crews arrived and found hay on fire in a barn, the hay was being removed from the barn by farm employees. Crews extinguished and overhauled a small fire in the barn while other crews assisted in extinguishing the hay which was now on the exterior of the barn. Scene was turned over to the property owner and crews returned to service.

The Maryland 50/50 changed up their format with less drawings resulting in significantly larger pots! Every ticket purchased using our link results in a portion of the proceeds going directly to us here at the Middletown Volunteer Fire Company #7 and the rest to the pot with very little overhead taken out to operate the website.

At 3:17pm A78, A129, ALS8, R20, E72, RE74, C7-B, TRPR3, BC903, EMS901, SAF901 were dispatched to Rt 17 and Valley View Rd for the vehicle accident with entrapment. RE74 arrived with a 3 vehicle accident with one pinned. BC903 had the command and Chief 7B had the extrication group. A plan was formed and due to the complexity, crews worked diligently for 24 minutes to get the patient extricated. Good work by all crews on scene.
