Last month, Mayor Tony Perry, Committeewoman Kimberly Kratz, and Middletown Township Police Chief Craig Weber joined LeGrand Coffee House (1500 NJ-35 Unit 17 in the Kings Commons Shopping Center) for the grand opening of its second location. The café's first location is in Woodbridge Township. 🎉

The shop is owned by Eric LeGrand, a former Rutgers University defensive tackle, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and author. In 2010, LeGrand sustained a spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed while making a tackle during a game. Over the years, he has become an inspiration to many through his perseverance, advocacy, and continued recovery.

LeGrand Coffee House encourages patrons to connect with one another while enjoying a "Daily Cup of bELieve," a philosophy that empowers people to start each day with purpose, positivity, and the belief that they can overcome any obstacle.

The Middletown WTC Memorial Gardens Fund Committee is selling commemorative yard signs in remembrance of the 25th anniversary of 9/11.  The Committee will also be there tomorrow from 9 AM to 3 PM and next weekend.

Last month, Mayor Tony Perry, Deputy Mayor Rick Hibell, and Committeewoman Kimberly Kratz attended the ribbon cutting of Coop's Cones (883 Main Street, Belford) in Campbell's Junction! 🎉

After years of selling their delicious treats at various farmers markets and events, the mother/son-owned small business has now opened its first storefront in Middletown.

Their hand-crafted menu features specialty items like ice cream nachos, bagged waffle cone chips, and "cone-olis." While waffle cones are their signature ingredient, they also sell soft pretzels.

Last Thursday afternoon, Mayor Tony Perry visited Veterans Village (45 Leonardville Road, Belford) to meet with members of the VFW Post 2179 Ladies Auxiliary and see the beautiful welcome hampers filled with useful items they thoughtfully created for current and incoming residents.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Ladies Auxiliary for their time, generosity, and dedication in putting together these special welcome hampers. Their kindness will help new residents feel at home as they begin this new chapter.

Mayor Tony Perry and Committeewoman Kimberly Kratz recently stopped by Arbor Terrace (1800 NJ-35) to celebrate two remarkable residents on their very special birthdays! Anne Watkins officially became a centenarian, turning 100 years old, while Stella Billick celebrated her incredible 104th birthday!

The Township Committee members presented Anne and Stella with personalized certificates in honor of their birthdays and joined family, friends, and Arbor Terrace residents and staff for the celebration. The event also featured a performance by Bon Jovi tribute band Don Jovi, birthday cake, and plenty of well wishes for the guests of honor.

Congratulations to Anne and Stella on these extraordinary birthdays! We wish you both continued health, happiness, and many more wonderful memories.
