Today is Memorial Day, a day to honor all who gave their lives in service to this country. Many members of the Head Start family have a loved one who wore a uniform. This weekend feels like a good moment to hold them close, too.

We hope you have a meaningful holiday.

There they are! The dedicated Head Start staff (with just a few missing) who were present at the TVCCA Employee Appreciation Day! Know you all are appreciated each and every day! Thanks for all you do!

Across the country, Community Action Agencies, state CSBG offices, and local partners are helping families and communities build stability, opportunity, and long-term wellbeing.

In FFY 2023, Community Action reached communities nationwide:

● 10.7 million people received services

● 5.3 million families were supported

● 99% of U.S. counties were reached

● 995 Community Action Agencies delivered services

● $20.95 was leveraged for every $1 of CSBG funding

These numbers show the strength of a network built on federal funding, state leadership, local flexibility, and community partnerships.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll highlight the data, partnerships, and measurable outcomes behind Community Action’s impact.
