The Middletown Township Fire Department was proud to take part in Family Fun Day at Devito's Dogs and Grille this afternoon!

Alongside meeting with local families, members from Port Monmouth Fire Company and Independent Fire Co. of Belford brought some friendly competition to the table during an afternoon hot dog eating contest.

Thank you to DeVito’s and our community for a fantastic turnout!

Even the deer have had enough of this Nor'Easter...

While the rest of us are dealing with rain, wind, and flooding, this little doe decided to add getting stuck in a fence to the list of her problems today.

Luckily for her, the firefighters at Old Village Fire Company and Middletown Township Fire Company No.1 were able to carefully free her out!

We are happy to report that the doe was uninjured, and quickly ran off after being freed.

We hope you all are staying safe out there, Middletown!
