Today, we are remembering Nancy Wyman, a friend to public safety and a leader for all of Connecticut.

Commissioner Ronnell Higgins: "The Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection mourns the passing of former Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman. During her decades of public service, she stood for accountability, fiscal responsibility, and equality. At DESPP, we will remember Nancy Wyman for her support for law enforcement, veterans, and all first responders in the state. We are grateful for her spirit, positive outlook, and belief in the state of Connecticut."

CSP Col. Daniel Loughman: “On behalf of the Connecticut State Police, I offer our deepest condolences to the Wyman family. Throughout her decades of service to the people of Connecticut, Nancy demonstrated her strong support to law enforcement. She was a dear friend to the State Police and to our Troopers across our state. Nancy Wyman has left a legacy of public service and dedication that sets the highest standard for others to follow in Connecticut.”
