What a fun Water Day our 4-Year-Olds had the other week! ☀️💦 The 90-degree weather made it the perfect day for our little lions to cool off and enjoy all the exciting water activities planned just for them.

Students had a blast playing with sponges, water squirters, slides, the pool, reusable water balloons, a car wash, and fun fill-and-dump activities. There were smiles, laughter, and splashes everywhere as everyone enjoyed a day full of summer fun and hands-on play! 🦁

We cannot thank Mrs. Craig, Ms. Bennett, and Ms. Sission enough for all the time, creativity, and effort they put into planning such a special day for our students. Their hard work made Water Day a huge success and a memory our lions will never forget! 💙

Room 202 had so much fun yesterday, as they explored how we can use water for cooking, by making lemonade! 🍋💦

Students used real lemons and lemonade powder while taking turns pouring, mixing, and even tasting the lemons along the way. There were so many smiles and excited reactions as everyone helped create a yummy treat together!

Hands-on learning is always extra sweet when it includes teamwork, fun, and a little lemonade! 🦁💛

Happy Throwback Thursday to our Four-Year-Old Spring Concert at the beginning of May! 🎶🦁

We had so much fun listening to our little lions sing their hearts out on stage in front of their families and friends. It was such a special night seeing all of our students dressed to impress, singing loud, and shining with confidence!

We cannot thank our classroom teams enough for practicing each day and helping their students feel brave and ready to perform. We are so proud of our Lion Pride and the memories made that evening! 💙

Friday’s STEMpathy event was truly amazing!

A huge thank you to Lorewood Grove Elementary and Middletown High School for making this experience possible and for their incredible partnership. Because of their collaboration, Levi and Savonn were both able to receive their adapted cars, such a powerful and joyful moment.

We are also so grateful for our collaboration with the University of Delaware for bringing STEM learning to life in such a meaningful way for our students.

So much joy, connection, and learning in one unforgettable day!

Happy National Speech-Language Pathologist Day! 🗣️💙

Today we celebrate our incredible speech-language pathologists who help our students find their voices, build communication skills, and gain confidence every day.

Whether they are supporting articulation, language development, or social communication, our SLPs make a lasting impact on the lives of children and families.

Thank you for your patience, expertise, and dedication to helping every child communicate and connect with the world around them. We are so grateful for all that you do!

May is Better Speech and Hearing Month, and at APC we are taking a moment to celebrate and recognize the incredible impact of communication on a child’s growth, confidence, and connection with others. 💙🗣️👂

Last week, we said goodbye to our adorable baby chicks! 🐥💛

Our students had an incredible time participating in the embryology program with the University of Delaware. Watching the chicks hatch and grow gave our children a hands-on opportunity to learn about life cycles, responsibility, and caring for living things.

A big thank you to the University of Delaware for providing this memorable learning experience for our students!
