So for the first time since 2015 the CT Army National Guard will have a new Meriden / Wallingford recruiter.

I have accepted a new position starting Monday, (still in Recruiting) and will begin the transition of training up my replacement. It was a fun run, let’s see how fun this next role is.

Last night we took a trip down to the Beat the Street Community Center to thank and honor it’s long time Director Larry Pelletier.

I met Larry when I was just 8 years old when Beat the Street was mostly a boxing club (I sucked at boxing). Larry has continued to add programs for our youths free of charge, and truly cares for Meriden.

So many from Meriden have Larry to thank for being a safe Haven and mentor, never wanting special recognition. Well he’s a little token of gratitude Larry, Thank you for what YOU do. 🇺🇸

Today members of B Co 1/102nd INF, H Co 186th BSB, 118th Med BN, and the 6th Recruiting and Retention BN came together with members of the community in Berlin and New Britain to assist “Boxes to Boots” a nonprofit organization that sends care packages to service members around the world. Together hundreds of care packages were wrapped with Christmas cheer while singing loud for all to hear. 🇺🇸

Speaking to the Students on staying motivated during these times along with being resilient.
