Dear Neighbors and Friends,
After the last Planning Board meeting, the leadership of Stop Fairview realized that we are facing an unfair fight. The cemetery came armed with a high-powered law firm and a team of expert witnesses, all focused on convincing the Planning Board that their dangerous and toxic proposal will cause no harm to our community. We cannot stand by and allow this dangerous proposal to move forward.
We must also challenge this proposal with the same level of resources. That’s why the Stop Fairview Leadership team has hired the law firm of Lieberman, Blecher & Sinkevich. This firm has decades of experience in land use cases and environmental protection, and their team of experts and witnesses will work tirelessly on our behalf to stop this harmful project.
However, the legal fees are substantial, and we cannot bear this burden alone. That’s why we are turning to you, our neighbors for support.
We are urging everyone to contribute. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly towards our legal fight. Whether you choose to make a one-time donation or set up recurring monthly contributions, your support will make a significant impact. Donations can be made easily through Zeffy, a free online platform that supports non-profit organizations like ours. Zeffy provides many options to contribute and the process is very easy. Alternatively, you can send a check made out to “Stop Fairview” to 10 Basswood Court, Red Bank, NJ 07701.
But your financial support is not the only way you can help. We need you to stay engaged and involved. Please attend the Planning Board meeting on April 3rd, please stay informed on our website and social media pages, but most importantly, please spread the word. Encourage friends and neighbors to donate to our legal defense fund.
