We wrapped up the week with a successful bore for the Pennsylvania Turnpike just outside Allentown, Pennsylvania. The project required installing a 3.5-inch pipe for a fiber optic line spanning approximately 330 feet. The bore was challenging by the presence of pockets of rock, hard-packed shale, and significant elevation fluctuations with little room to set the drill. Mike Amspacher Cris Amspacher. Here are a few photos from an ongoing project we’re completing alongside a local electrician at Elizabethtown college. The scope includes installing low-voltage power and communication lines for new blue light emergency phones across campus.

Our role on this project involves precision bores beneath newly paved parking lots and pedestrian walkways to ensure minimal surface disruption. Despite extremely rocky and unforgiving ground conditions, our crew delivered clean, accurate bores and kept the project moving forward.

Challenging conditions are part of the job—and once again, we got it done 👍
