FREE CT Fire Academy Program: Emerging Explosion and Lithium Battery Hazards – Fire Marshal CEU Credit
The Connecticut Fire Academy is pleased to announce a free educational training opportunity offered to members of the Connecticut fire service on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.
As emerging technologies and industrial hazards continue to evolve, the fire service’s understanding of explosion protection, combustible dust incidents, flammable gas events, and the increasing risks associated with lithium battery energy storage systems also needs to evolve. This timely program will provide firefighters, fire officers, fire marshals, code officials, and emergency response personnel with practical insight into these growing hazards and the protective strategies now being developed nationwide.
