🏆 Congratulations, Officer Wray! 👮‍♂️

I am proud to have presented Officer Wray with the Meritorious Conduct Award last night during the Midfield City Council Meeting.

On May 31, 2026, Officer Wray demonstrated exceptional dedication and commitment to duty when he captured a wanted escapee from the Perry County Correctional PREP Center in Uniontown, Alabama.

As Chief, I am proud to recognize Officer Wray for his actions and the professionalism he demonstrated while representing the Midfield Police Department. This award is well deserved and is a reflection of the dedication he brings to this department and the citizens we serve.

Get ready for an unforgettable Saturday at the Midfield September Soul Fest on Saturday, September 12th, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Midfield Community Center, 410 Grant St, Midfield, AL 35228.

Enjoy free admission, live performances by Urban Mystic, Ida B. Knight, Ken G. Muzik, Bill Avery, and Comedian Sir Walt, plus DJ Juice on the 1s and 2s. There will also be food trucks, vendors, great food, and plenty of good vibes for the whole community!
