Wishing all the incredible mothers out there a Happy Mother's Day! Our Quest Mothers, and indeed all mothers, devote themselves to nurturing their children with boundless love. For many mothers of children with disabilities, thoughtful planning is essential to ensure their child's future is bright and secure. Jason Miller, Executive Director of Plan NJ, invites you to a Zoom presentation on Thursday, May 28 at 6pm, designed to empower families to create a lasting legacy for their adult children. Email us at [email protected] for more details and to reserve your spot.

Shout out to Rhonell, Joe, Bryan and Ralph, for helping our participant as she experienced and recovered from a seizure yesterday. Though QAP is a program for those on the autism spectrum, many individuals have a duel diagnosis and also deal with epilepsy day to day. One in 26 people will develop epilepsy sometime in their lifetime - November is Epilepsy Awareness Month.

We are still a few weeks away from the “official” Giving Tuesday. An organization as small as ours gets lost in the excitement so we decided to start a little early and end on Dec 2. This year we would like to purchase new iPads for our participants to share since many of our current iPads in use can no longer be updated to use the latest operating system and apps. Our goal is to raise $3,500 to purchase 10 iPads. We would so appreciate your help in reaching our goal! Use or copy this link, select the platform of your choice and make a note that it’s for Giving Tuesday. Thank you!!!! https://www.questnj.org/donate

The Caregivers of our Participants are unsung heros and here at QAP we respect and value their role. Thank you Governor Phil Murphy for your acknowledgement of the importance of Family Caregivers in the State of NJ.

November is - a time to recognize and honor family caregivers across NJ and draw attention to the many challenges facing family caregivers.
