Traffic Advisory for Friday 5/8/26…….


NOTICE OF ROAD RESURFACING WORK
Date: Friday, May 8' 2026
Affected Streets: Godwin Avenue between Rea Avenue and Vreeland Avenue. Midland Park N.
Time: 7:00 AM - 3:00PM
Additional Info:
• Contractor will first mill the road, then come back through and pave with asphalt.
• Line Striping will commence same day after paving is complete.
• Police officers will be onsite to assist with access or parking issues.
• Please avoid stepping on the asphalt until the work is completely finished.
• Westbound Lane of Godwin Avenue will be closed for the duration of the project.

This morning a resident reported to us that she received a text message solicitation from the NJ Motor Vehicle Commission. The text message requested payment to prevent a DL suspension.
