9/4/2026 7:20 PM Radar Update: An outflow boundary moving across the Permian Basin is bringing increased easterly winds with gusts up to 35 mph and areas of blowing dust reducing the visibility to around 2 miles. Please drive with caution if encountering blowing dust. Visibility should gradually improve after 8 PM.

Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are developing over parts of the Permian Basin early this evening. Storms will be few and far between, but those that manage to develop will be capable of producing brief strong wind gusts, brief heavy rain, and frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes. Storms should gradually diminish in coverage after dark.
