Midland Fire responded to a structure fire in the 1800 block of West Tennessee Avenue on Wednesday (May 27, 2026).
No injuries were reported, but two adults and two children were displaced. The Red Cross was notified.

Weโ€™re proud to announce that David Vargas has officially earned his paramedic license from the State of Texas after passing the National Registry test! ๐Ÿš‘๐ŸŽ‰
David has also completed the Field Training Evaluation Program (FTEP) at Midland Fire.

Outside of duty, David enjoys hiking, playing games, watching movies, cooking, and spending time with family!
