Each year, on the first Friday in June, Deloitte employees across the country gather to volunteer for Impact Day. This year, our local office built and assembled 16 Little Free Libraries and garden beds. Volunteers also brought gently loved children's books to fill the libraries. These items will create enriching learning opportunities for kids through our in-home childcare providers' hub.

A special thank you to the Community Shed of Mid Michigan for their assistance refining the plans, cutting the wood, and sharing their expertise on the day of to make assembly seamless for the volunteers!

We would also like to thank The Home Depot for donating the wood for the project and Midland County Habitat for Humanity for the use of their space!

Join us at Camp Neyati on June 10th!

Volunteers will be cleaning cabins, sprucing up the grounds, tackling kitchen projects, and more to help create a welcoming space for every camper.

While the school year is just coming to an end, we are already working to make an impact next year! Kick off summer with a Great Lakes Loons game this Friday, June 5, and bring a new backpack for a local K-12 student to receive a lawn ticket for a future 2026 regular season Loons game.

All backpacks collected will be distributed through Greater Midland North Family Center and Greater Midland Coleman Family Center in August.

If you've been to our office, you've probably been greeted by our Chief Pawsitivity Officer, Oliver. 🐾 He takes his job of bringing joy to our team very seriously.

Congratulations to Midland County Educational Service Agency's Project Wildflower on being selected by the community as the winner of the first-ever Days of Action project contest sponsored by Tri-Star Trust! 🌷🪻🌻

A big thank you to everyone who voted for their favorite project! During Days of Action from June 22-25, we will not only be working on Project Wildflower but also offering smaller volunteer opportunities with our United Way partners Cancer Services - Midland, Home To Stay Housing Assistance Center, The ROCK Center for Youth Development, Midland County Habitat for Humanity, Affordable Housing Alliance, West Midland Family Center, Senior Services Midland, Greater Midland Coleman Family Center, Midland Child Advocacy Center, Greater Midland North Family Center, and Arnold Center, Inc., Family & Children's Services of Mid-Michigan.

Registration for all opportunities will be available next week.
