Third grade students in Miss Ditri’s Social Studies class recently embarked on an exciting journey to explore America’s national parks, with a special focus on Bryce Canyon National Park! Students completed a replica Junior Ranger packet, researching the park, participating in activities, and learning all about Bryce Canyon’s fascinating hoodoos.

To wrap up their Junior Ranger training, students took a virtual hike through Bryce Canyon using Google Earth, experiencing the park’s breathtaking landscapes from their classroom. To complete their adventure, each student proudly pledged to help protect our national parks and keep Bryce Canyon beautiful for future generations! 🥾⛰️🐿️

💚Closing out Mental Health Awareness Month with a celebration of our YAP group!

Throughout the year, they participated in county-wide events, positive chalk talk, making and delivering crafts for assisted living facilities, reading with the younger students here at Midland, and many more positive and encouraging activities!
We are so proud of them!!

Any student in grades 6-8 can join our YAP group each school year! We are excited to see what next year holds!💚

We had a beautiful evening celebrating our Midland seniors at this year’s Senior Banquet. It was a joy to honor the Class of 2026 and the special guests who have supported them along the way. Congratulations to our seniors, your hard work, resilience, and accomplishments make our community proud.
