Late post: We went out to show our appreciation to the nurses for Nurse’s week. It was a small token thanking them for all they do in our community to help mend the sick, the elderly, and all the in-between. We are grateful for you spending long hours and showing compassion in a field that requires a lot of one’s self. Great job and hope you enjoyed the treats.

It is with great sadness that we lost one of our own on Tuesday evening. Hector became an EMR while at Tac Med Ambulance and was working on becoming an EMT. Hector had an amazing personality and gave the best hugs. He was loved by all who knew him. This a great loss to the Tac Med family as well as our patients. Thank you Hector for your service and may rest in peace.

Tac med is currently looking for a night dispatcher for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Sunday.

We are also looking for a day dispatcher on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

As EMS Week comes to a close all I can say is how grateful we are for each of our employees. Most of these guys travel from El Paso and take time away from their families to provide a service for Midland, Odessa, and surrounding areas. They are hardworking and amazing at what they do. Thank you to all the men and women who give selflessly in this field to take care of others. You are all superstars! (This is not all the employees but a few I was able to grab during the busy days and catching off shift)
