🐾 Part-Time Cat Care Position Available! 🐾

Do you love cats and want to make a difference in their lives every day?

Midland Cat Wranglers is looking for a part-time team member to help care for our rescue cats each morning.

Position Details:
🐱 Prepare and serve our famous “cat soup”
🐱 Feed and care for our cats
🐱 Help ensure all cats have fresh food and water

⏰ Hours: Approximately 2 hours per day
📅 Schedule: Mornings, 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM

What we’re looking for:
✔️ An animal lover with a compassionate heart
✔️ Dependable and punctual
✔️ Comfortable working around cats of all ages and personalities
✔️ Able to follow feeding and sanitation protocols

✨ MCW'S CAT OF THE WEEK! ✨

This week, we have the handsome Iggy, here to say hello!

Iggy is a two year old male orange cat. He was found by us as a stray in April 2025, and has been warming our hearts ever since!

Not only is Iggy super soft and super sweet, he is a special sort of glutton for pets. When you pull your hand away from him, he'll grab it and bring it right back, or he'll give you a little tap to make sure you haven't forgotten him. Haven't you ever wanted a cat that pets you back? 🤣

Iggy is very laid-back and does well with other kitties, and he would like a home that's able to provide him with lots of love! He is available for adoption, and is always happy to make new friends! Drop by our shelter and come say hello to him!

Sometimes you are humbled. This is Robert. He is in our people in need food program for cats. We have been hard at work on our documentary, and today we followed him to his feeding spots… we have TNR’d many cats for him but there are so many more. He is paralyzed and only has the use of one arm. He is a very talented artist but his work is unknown. He rides around the south side every day come rain or shine… feeding cats. He puts a jug of water, and food in his basket and between his legs. We walked and he rolled for miles! He is a colorful soul with a heart of gold. Again, his name is Robert. Sometimes those with the least do the most. We can all learn from him.
