Leading a PTA is more than spirit wear and treating our teachers (which are two things we typically LOVE to do). Congrats to our 5 PTAs who are already in GOOD STANDING with Texas PTA!!!

What is GOOD STANDING you ask??
Being a part of TEXAS PTA & NATIONAL PTA means each PTA must complete certain requirements each year.
- Electing leaders
- Having an active membership of at least 20 members
- Current Bylaws & Standing Rules (if applicable)
- Yearly Accepted 990 filing with the IRS

We strive for each of our PTAs to complete these requirements each year by no later than October 31st. Many of our PTAs are only missing 1 of the requirements above to be in Good Standing so far.

The way Ms. Amancio leads with passion, encourages her teachers, and supports her students is truly inspiring. ❤️🖤 Her dedication, heart, and Raider pride has made Goddard the BEST Junior High in the district, and we are beyond lucky to call her OURS!

❤️🖤 WHAT A NIGHT, RAIDERS! 🖤❤️

Goddard Junior High started the new school year in the BEST way—with an incredible night filled with families, friends, teachers, community, and LOTS of Raider pride!

The turnout for Raider Round-Up was absolutely amazing! Our students were able to meet their teachers, reconnect with friends, and walk into the new year feeling welcomed and ready to be Raiders!

🌭 A HUGE shout-out to Rockin4L and TMCO for going above and beyond for our school by providing and cooking the hot dogs and supplying drinks for the evening. We are so thankful for community partners who generously give their time and resources to support our students and families!

And THANK YOU to every volunteer, staff member, community partner, parent, and student who helped make the night so special. Events like this remind us just how lucky we are to be part of such an amazing school community.

The school year is officially underway, and if Raider Round-Up was any indication of what’s ahead… it’s going to be a GREAT year at Goddard! ❤️🖤

Here is another chance to help with PTA! You don’t have know everything about PTA, you will be there to help sign people up for memberships and helping them scan QR codes for donation and PTA interest forms. This event is Thursday, August 13th 5pm-7pm at Golf Course Road Church of Christ.
