A resident of Midland for over 21 years, Spencer attended Fannin Elementary, San Jacinto Junior High and Midland High School. After graduating from Texas A&M, he moved to Washington, D.C. to work for Republican Congressman Kevin Brady. He returned to Midland in 2010 where he has been employed as a crude oil marketer with Plains Marketing ever since. Locally, Spencer attends Mid Cities Community Ch

urch, is on the board for the Young Professionals in Energy and coaches the Mid City Little League Giants. He lives with his wife Brooke, and their 3 dogs in the heart of district 3.
