Recording Library of West Texas

Recording Library of West Texas Resources for blind and low-vision adults. Audiobooks, podcasts, 24-hour radio station, much more. Volunteers are always needed.

There is a very informal audition which involves reading the local newspaper. We ask that you dedicate an average of 2 hours a week to come into the studio to record. Many of our volunteers find the experience addictive! You never know what you will be reading and there is always something to learn.

🎙Episode 10, Season 1 Finale for Missions on the Mic, where nonprofits go live.
💗 We had the pleasure of sitting down over coffee with Carolina Keith, Executive Director of Pink the Basin. Their incredible organization helps fund procedures and diagnostic testing for those affected by breast cancer all at no cost to the patient.💗

Through their annual fundraiser, Pink the Basin continues to make a life-changing impact in our community. This year’s event brought together over 800 attendees in support of the cause!
💞 Just a reminder:
1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
1 in 1,000 men will also face a breast cancer diagnosis.

We’re grateful for the work Pink the Basin does to bring hope, awareness, and healing across West Texas. 🎀
