Our next Adult Book Discussion will take place at the library on Saturday, September 12 from 10 - 11 AM and will feature "Home and Away" by Rochelle Alers.

Frustrated with her journalism career and life in Chicago, Harper Fleming leaves both behind, and heads to Nashville, Tennessee to learn and write about her great grandfather who played in the Negro Baseball Leagues. And as Harper honors her great-grandfather's life, she finds the inspiration to take her own in a bold new direction.

Books are available the month prior to the meeting. Titles may be available electronically through Libby or Hoopla.

🌿 Friends, we have some exciting news! 🌿

One of the projects we’ve been working on is officially here! In partnership with our friends at the Midlothian Park District, we are thrilled to introduce our brand-new StoryWalk at Memorial Park! 🎉

Take a stroll through the park while enjoying a story page by page along the way. Our StoryWalk will feature a rotating story throughout the seasons, along with a sneak peek at upcoming library programs and activities.

🦋 This season’s featured story is Waiting for Wings by Lois Ehlert! 🌸

We can’t wait to see families reading, walking, exploring, and enjoying the StoryWalk together. If you stop by, please snap a photo and tag us—we’d love to see your StoryWalk adventures! 📸💚
