Look who’s coming to The Pre-Quill Conference!
Katie Campbell is the Marketing Chair for the League of Utah Writers. She has worked in graphic design for over ten years.
Jodi L. Milner is the author of the award-winning Shadow Barrier Trilogy YA fantasy series as well as multiple other works. She’s also co-host of Squirrel! Podcast for Distracted Writers, runs a small virtual assisting business helping author clients overcome technical challenges, and teaches at local writing conferences.
David Rodeback has degrees from Brigham Young University and Cornell University and taught at both schools. His self-published collections of short fiction have won Silver and Bronze Quills and were named notable reads by the 2025 Utah Book Awards. His first novel, Hearts Together, a contemporary coming-of-age tale, debuted in December 2025. He is the 2025 Writer of the Year.
Candace J. Thomas wears many hats including author, editor, podcaster, publisher, scientist, and most recently President-elect for the League of Utah Writers. She may be a petite blond who runs on sugar, but she has 13 years in the publishing game and knows her stuff.
