Just kidding. Because sometimes, they cause power outages.

If you do experience an outage, at least reporting it is quick and easy with the Coastal Electric app!

Just follow the orange circles in these images to see each step. When you reach the final screen, you can choose to report the outage at your service address or your current location, and even add comments to share helpful details with our crew.

You can also report outages at CoastalElectric.Coop/outages or by calling (800) 421-2343, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and we'll get you taken care of as soon as we can!

We'd like to welcome a special group of students who are spending their summer with us as a part of the Learners Today, Leaders Tomorrow work study program!

📸 Jada Mason, a rising senior at Richmond Hill High School, is working with our Marketing & Communications Department, sharpening her talents in photography, graphic design and social media.
⚡ Gabriel Rewis of McIntosh County Academy, and Adrian Jones and Lilly Lugo of Richmond Hill High School are spending their summer with our line crews, gaining hands-on experience and learning what it takes to keep the lights on for our members.

Help us welcome these Learners Today, Leaders Tomorrow, and wish them well in their summer adventures!
