Congratulations to Paul Edwards for promoting to Apparatus Operator! This positions rank is Sergeant and is typically second in command at a fire station. When a company officer is not on duty Sgt. Edwards will be responsible for the fire crew that day. On other days, it will be his responsibility to drive the fire truck and provide critical pumping operations to firefighters. Paul came to work for Midwest City Fire Department in June of 2012 and has been anxiously waiting for a position to become available since November of 2021 when he was next in line from the promotion process!

Congratulations to Nate Rogers on becoming Midwest City Fire Departments next Captain. Captain Rogers has spent the last year studying for his opportunity to compete for the position. Nate started with the department in 2013 and promoted in 2020 to Sergeant/Apparatus Operator. The department looks forward to utilizing him in his company officer role commanding a station and three crew members!
