552nd AMXS

This page is an unofficial page welcome to ALL current or former 552nd members! **EDIT** This page is not official or squadron run. This is a page for ALL members of the 552nd family, both current and former. The 552nd Component Maintenance Squadron's accomplishes on- and off-equipment repair of E-3 aircraft systems. The 552nd Component Maintenance
Squadron plays a significant role in accomplishing the wing mission as it is solely responsible for the maintenance of the E-3's weapon system, its sophisticated surveillance radar and computer systems. The unit is also responsible maintaining support equipment components and resolving technical problems associated with this equipment. The 552nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron provides sortie generation capability and extensive equipment maintenance support for worldwide deployment of the E-3 Sentry aircraft. Please be aware that this page is UNOFFICIAL and was created by a former member so that old and current members could find one another and communicate, post obits, share squadron news, etc.
I was approached by the unit and was informed that my page might have been confusing to some as it seemed to appear official. I was asked to include a statement that I would conform to the current administrations EOs.
I will not.
ALL are welcome here. I served with LGBTQIA+ members in my 25 year career and many were also 552nd members. I will not erase their contribution and de-platform my brothers and siters in arms because an Executive Orders says that they no longer exist.
I would imagine that a 552nd AMXS (OFFICIAL) page will happen soon, but that's up to the unit PA folks at Tinker AFB.

Remember, pilots without maintainers are overpaid pedestrians.

Saw some E-3Cs leaving D.M. a couple weeks back. Who were the maintainers makin' it happen?

I took this picture of my old jet over Afghanistan a few years back.
