Island Grove Campmeeting

Island Grove Campmeeting Island Grove Campmeeting Island Grove Campmeeting is located in Mexico, Pennsylvania. The Camp Meeting has a long tradition of spiritual ministry and fellowship.

Begun in 1897 across the river, it has been at the current location since 1904. Check back periodically for updates about each year's campmeeting! Here are some of the programs and activities Island Grove offers every year during campmeeting:

Nightly Worship Services (7:30 p.m.) Communion (First Friday service)
Missionary Night (Saturday service)
Fun Fair (Sunday afternoon)
Bible Study (Monday th

ru Friday)
Children's Church (Monday thru Friday)
Teen Time (Monday thru Friday)

There is also nightly fellowship after services up at the Mexico Hilton (known to camp-goers as the "Boarding House.")

We had a lovely end to our 130th campmeeting. The storms held off for Alex Leight's message and Lucy McConnell's special music. We are so glad they spent their Friday evening with us at Island Grove. ❤️

Our association meets this morning to wrap up everything from the 130th campmeeting and to start planning for the 131st. ✅️

There is still time to grab a donation for the Juniata County Food Pantry. Contributions can be placed in the baskets in the tabernacle or boarding house. 🧺

Big thank yous go out to Tom Morningstar and The Boyz for joining us for our Wednesday evening service! 🙏

Tonight, one of our own, Lydia Huttar Brown, will be sharing the message and we'll enjoy some musical selections from Naomi and Marie Naka as well as Betsy Huttar Naka! 🎵

Donation collection for the Juniata County Food Pantry is still under way. Please give as you are able to support this local cause. 😊

There will be treats served up at the boarding house immediately following tonight's service. AND it is our annual hot dog roast. All are welcome. 🍦🌭🍫
