🚧 2026 Road Construction Season is Underway! 🚧

Mille Lacs County Public Works is investing in our transportation system with several road improvement projects planned for 2026. These projects help improve safety, roadway conditions, and long-term infrastructure throughout the county.

🛣️ 2026 Road Projects:
• CSAH 3 (Highway 95 to South County Line) – Reconstruction
• CSAH 31 (Highway 95 to CSAH 29) – Surface Improvements & ADA Upgrades
• CSAH 33 (10th Ave to CR 101) – UTBWC on Gravel
• CR 112 (CSAH 9 to CSAH 11) – Surface Improvements, shoulder widening, and culvert replacements
• CR 131 (CSAH 17 to Highway 27) – Blade & Overlay, shoulder widening, and culvert replacements

📅 Construction on CR 112 began June 1, with CR 131 scheduled to follow. During construction, these roads will be closed to through traffic, but local access will be maintained.

📍 Residents along CR 33 may also see survey crews collecting topographic data this spring and summer as we prepare for future roadway improvements.

Thank you for your patience as we work to improve county roads for residents, businesses, and visitors. Please slow down in work zones and watch for workers and equipment.

🚜🌲 Volunteers Needed for Trails Day 2026 at Mille Lacs County ORV Park! 🌲🚜
Join MN4WDA for a hands-on volunteer day helping improve trails and facilities at Mille Lacs County ORV Park.

This year’s projects include:
🪵 Picnic Area Improvements
🛻 Trail Maintenance
🔧 Finishing the Trailer Dismantling Project

Whether you can help for a couple hours or the entire day, your time makes a difference. Volunteers help keep trails open, parks improving, and responsible recreation moving forward in Minnesota.

🥪 Lunch & bottled water provided for volunteers.
🎁 Volunteers completing 4+ hours of service will receive an exclusive MN4WDA Custom Splice Soft Shackle while supplies last.
Limit one volunteer reward per person per year.
