These kids are amazing! Mr. D and Miss Elliott awarded the entire class a certificate for showing empathy! They received the first ever whole class certificate! Mr. D was super impressed how they all have volunteered to help their friend who broke his leg and has been confined to a wheelchair. Not only do they help get things for him, pick up things that get dropped, quickly move out of his way to protect his leg, help him at lunch, but they walk with him on the sidewalk during recess so that he is not alone on the playground! I love these kids and am so happy they were recognized for showing such empathy!

And yes we had to take a silly picture to go along with a nice one! Mrs. Swaney took pictures too so look for the class picture by our Mindset for Learning Wall of Fame!
