🎓💙 Senior Walk 2026 💙🎓

Yesterday, our seniors took part in the annual Senior Walk through Edison Elementary and Middle School. Dressed in their caps and gowns, the Class of 2026 walked the halls while students and teachers cheered them on along the way. 👏⚡

It was a special moment for our seniors to reflect on how far they have come and for our younger Chargers to look ahead to all the possibilities their future holds. 💙🧡

The kindergarten students recently took a walk to the local library and enjoyed a fun learning experience together. Exploring books, stories, and the library community made for a great day outside the classroom! 💙🧡

💙☀️ On May 22nd, our High School Sources of Strength Peer Leaders hosted a Wellness Field Day focused on connection, stress relief, and having fun together before the end of the school year. ☀️💙

Students had the opportunity to choose activities that helped them relax and recharge - including a grade-level dodgeball tournament 🏐, friendship bracelet making 📿, coloring 🎨, and free roam activities with friends. 🤝

This afternoon was a reminder that wellness looks different for everyone, and taking time to connect, move, laugh, and unwind matters. 🌟 We are so proud of our Peer Leaders for planning an event that created space for students to de-stress, build friendships, and support one another. 💙

Recently at Edison Middle School, our students had the opportunity to participate in Career Day!

More than 20 community professionals generously volunteered their time to speak with students about their careers, educational journeys, and the experiences that helped shape their success. From skilled trades and healthcare to business, education, public service, and beyond, our students were exposed to a wide variety of career pathways and future possibilities.

Career exploration is an important part of helping students prepare for their future. Community presenters encouraged our students to think about their interests, talents, goals, and the dedication required to succeed in any profession. Most importantly, they inspired our students to dream big and begin building a vision for their future.

We are extremely grateful to all of our presenters for investing in our students and helping make this day such a meaningful experience. Thank you for supporting Edison Middle School and helping prepare the next generation for success!

The sophomore American History classes took a visit to the Maritime Museum of Sandusky to explore local history. Students saw various boats, used Morse code, tied nautical knots, and explored Sandusky’s connection to the Underground Railroad! ⛵📡

🌿🔍 Kindergarten Nature Adventure! 🔍🌿

Mrs. Peugeot’s kindergarten class enjoyed a hands-on nature scavenger hunt, exploring the outdoors and discovering all kinds of natural treasures. 🌱🪶

Students then used their findings for a pan balance weighing activity, comparing heavier and lighter objects such as a sprout versus a feather and more. ⚖️🍃

🏕️✨ Camp Day Fun in Kindergarten! ✨🏕️

Miss McMinn’s kindergarten class enjoyed a special Camp Day filled with hands-on fun and learning. Students built their own camp in tents, made s’mores, experimented with glow sticks, created their own fireflies, went fishing for sight words, and shared campfire stories while enjoying time together. 🔦🐟🍫

A perfect day of learning, imagination, and friendship as our little Chargers celebrated together! 💙🧡⚡
