MSHL and Milan Oasis are working to create an Action Team to help get Milan designated as a Dementia Friendly Community through Dementia Friendly America. 💜 We are certified Dementia Champions and we are ready to pass it on to our community. 💜

We are looking for Action Team members in all sectors of our community these are just a few ideas:

👉 City Government
👉 Public Safety
👉 First Responders
👉 Retail
👉 Housing
👉 Schools/Education
👉 Religious/Faith
👉 Care Partners
👉 Healthcare
👉 Financial Services

Milan Oasis has some really important FREE workshops coming up for care partners! 🙌

➡️ You do NOT have to be a member of MSHL to participate

➡️ All of these workshops are completely FREE to you, thanks to
various grants and donations 👏

➡️ Respite and lunch provided for some of them

➡️ Pre-registration is required because space is limited

📆 Dementia Friends Workshop Thursday, Sept 10th 10am and Tuesday, Sept 29th 6pm
Helping us all gain a little more dementia awareness

📅 5 Part Workshop starting Monday, Sept 14
FREE Licensed care partner support series

📅 Joanna LaFleur Dementia Expert will be presenting on The Art of Redirection! Tues, Oct 20th 1pm
Care partners will leave with practical strategies you can use right away!
